Thema Blogpflege... 👀😁

Eieiei sieht ja nicht so rosig aus mit Inhalten hier in den letzen Monaten und wie sich sicher viele von euch denken können ist sowas einfach n A*#ch voll Arbeit. 🙈🕙

Selbstreflexion 💆

Selbst wenn es die meiste Zeit wirklich Spaß macht Inhalte zusammenzufassen, diese in Fotoreihen und Videoclips festzuhalten und es schön ist zu sehen wenn Reiseprojekte 🚐, Ski & Equipmenttips🎿 und Bergrumkraxeln ⛏ ;) auf Feedback stoßen, Diskussionen entfachen und sich dadurch neue Seilschaften ergeben...
ist die ganze Gaudi trotzdem natürlich immer mit nem gewissen Zeitaufwand verbunden und dem dementsprechenden eigenen Anspruch.

Und mal so ganz ehrlich...😊

Und da der eigene Anspruch im Leben fast so gut wie immer für alles zu hoch ist, wenn man sich mal selbst ganz ehrlich ist, mach ich die Dinger lieber gscheid oder garned...
Da des Ganze ohnehin ein Gemisch aus: Inhalte für sich selbst erneut festhalten, einer gewissen Selbstverwirklichung & Kooperationen mit Dritten ist hab ich mich entschieden gibts in dem Fall hier im Blog also erstmal ne Pause...und bin dafür mim Ergebnis zufrieden :)

Aqua Marina Test Beast with big dog

Hi folks,

Short fun video with my dog Simba on our new Aqua Marina stand up paddle board the "Beast".

Feel free to to take a look.



As you can see it easily holds the weigh from me (80kg) and our big dog (35kg) = 115kg without any problems and is still nice and chill to paddle on the lakes. Just the dog has to learn to stay on board - most times he does, but he also like to hunt after every duck or fish as you could see ;)

With a volume of 304l and a length of 320cm and it´s thickness of 15cm it´s super easy to go, even for stand up paddlers which are a bit heavier.

What I personally like about the board it´s the special feature on the tail with a kickpad - so if you want to make quick turns it´s perfect and in the same way usable for small wave to ride and balance you weight on the back with good stable movements.

GONE SKIING - Living the life in the mountains

Hi folks :),

This one is a documentary style videoproject from my swedish partner 8848 Altitude produced mostly around the Zillertal Ski Area.

It shows some personal emotions about happenings over the last years, coming back from my 2 ACL injury - cruciate lingament tears, the switch from competing at Freeride World Qualifier to focusing on media productions and how´s like working and living in - and with - the ski industry during skitests tradefairs like ISPO and travelling around.

Basically it´s all about dedication to freeride skiing and an attitude towards life to spend it in the mountains.
But feel free to enjoy some impressions in moving pictures:

Hintertux Glacier - Kaserer Grad Hike - Movie Project

Hi There,

Short insight about an ascent project at the Hintertux glacier for our Freeriderslife movie being released in october 2015.

All in all it is a very exposed ridge and demanding hike up there where we had a lot of fun, but you have to be absolutely sure about snow conditions and be confident of your own constituation and mental health.

We did climb up over the Kaserer Grad towards the "Kaserer Gipfel" - Kleiner Kaserer 3093m
If you want to do this hike, please talk to the locals and guides on the Hintertux glacier about current avalanche and snow situations and be sure that your friends or your team can rely on each other.

To get an overview about it I attached a map to make it as easy as possible.

You take the Kaserer 2 lift up and then traverse to the right to the entry of the hike towards the ridge.

Most of the ascent looks like this - there are some small cruxes where you have to careful.

When you reached the peak after approx. 30-40min. the traverse (see map) looks like this:

When you reached the end of the traverse your line down can look like this and you know the effort getting there was totally worth every step. :)

Dahoam am Brauneck - Home sweet home

Die ISPO steht vor der Tür und was liegt dort näher als die eigenen Produkte nochmal auf Herz und Nieren zu testen und durch den Powder zu jagen.

Also ging es von München aus ins nahe gelegene Brauneck nähe Lenggries um endlich einmal die bayerischen Heimat und deren Powderfields zu zerpflügen.

Mit im Boot das Bergstolz und Skiing Magazin mit Ralf Jirgens, Roman Lachner und Chris Neumann, die sich trotz ISPO Vorbereitungen kaum über einen Freeridetag incl Produkttest gewehrt haben.

2 Years after... thank you all

It's been 2 years today ... since my crash at a freeride contest in France.
Quite a long way to recover, which wouldn´t have been possible without positive minds around me.
After a serious injury, 6 surgerys, a lot of hard training from that day on, I can say I feel confident again while skiing and enjoy sports again.

Shout outs go to everyone that I have met on this way -> Especially my girl, friends and family who gave me the will to keep going !
